For those looking for a quiet getaway with a personal touch of Filipino hospitality, then Paradise Bay Beach and Watersport resort will surely suit your taste. Owned and managed by a German and his wife, the service is truly excellent. Management is hands on in attending to the guests, making sure everybody leaves with good memories of Boracay. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and the location absolutely beautiful. The hotel is not located on White beach so guests could enjoy some peace and quiet at night. But if you would like to take a dip on White Beach, it is an easy 10 minute stroll away or you can take the hotel bus with a driver who will take you anywhere on the island whenever you like. The food was great and the facilities good.

This is highly recommended for guests who would like to enjoy their holiday in peace. If guests would like to be closer to the centre of Boracay, then the location of the hotel is to be reconsidered.

The attraction that Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel has for guests is their very large veranda overlooking the beach path on Station 2 and a private pool. Other than that this hotel seems to pricey compared to hotels in Station 2 offering the same amenities at a lower cost. The rooms are at best average and clean but numerous complaints about their non-functional toilets have been reported. Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is in a prime beachfront location in Station 2 but if you want peace and quiet for your vacation, this is the place for you. The band on beach plays every night and plays until the wee hours of the morning, disrupting most guests’ sleep. However, if you are fond of listening to music by the beach and is not bothered at all by noise, then this resort is might please.

The staff is attentive and friendly so service is not much of a problem. All in all, the Boracay Mandarin Island Hotel is too average and basic for its pricey room rates; lesser priced hotels in Station 2 offer the same decent accommodation.

Hotel room rates from Php 8,000 to Php 27,500 a night.

A small, quaint hotel with good beach access in Station 1 with reasonably priced modern, clean and simple rooms and no fuss facilities. Just outside the hotel is one of the quieter and less crowded parts of White Beach. The hotel has hammocks, beach chairs and tables available for guests who want to soak up the sun and relax under shaded coconut trees. The service level from the staff is excellent. Friendly and always helpful in making the guests feel welcome.
The structure is three stories high and has no elevator, so guests expecting for a lot more than a decent place to stay, Residencia Boracay is not for you. Residencia Boracay also has no restaurant but with restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, dining will not be problem.

Established in 1986 and is located in the middle of Boracay’s four – kilometer long beach between Boat Station 1 and 2, Bamboo Bungalows try to preserve the natural ambiance of the old and natural Boracay feeling. The resort has a 4,000 square meter area and is a haven of tranquility to its guests and is set in a spacious tropical garden that reaches up to the beachfront. Only a few steps from the island’s shopping Mecca, D’Mall and the energetic and lively nightlife activities on the beach.

Local materials such as coconut lumber, amacan – mats and nipa – roofs are used in the resort’s four native – type bungalows with verandas facing the panoramic tropical garden. In 2004, six newly built air – conditioned bungalows are opened with verandas and two of the bungalows are big enough to accommodate a small family. For guests who are into outdoor activities and adventure, there are several shops/schools for tennis, mountain biking, water skiing and Jet Ski, sailboat cruising, horseback riding, kite and windsurfing and an eighteen – hole golf course.

A peaceful beachfront hotel in Station 2, Nigi Nigi Nu Noose E Nu Nu Noos is as exotic as its name with traditional Pagoda style cottages and lush gardens to make your stay every bit as relaxing as you want it to be. With the beach a few steps away, prepare to be enchanted by the tranquil, turquoise sea and swaying palms set against clear blue skies.
Nigi Nigi Nu Noose E Nu Nu Noos offers basic but pleasant accommodations and has a rustic and homey atmosphere; guests who would like fast internet access and phones in their rooms would be disappointed, The lack of modern amenities however is compensated by the resort’s central location; it is 10-15 minutes walk away from the D’Mall where numerous shops and restaurants are located.
